Soccer Expert Sutton Takes On Singer Murs in Premier League Forecasts
Arsenal's 10-game winning streak came to an end by the Black Cats before the global hiatus, however will the English top division frontrunners recover against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," remarked football expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, versus AI, readers and a range of guests.
For the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
The singer's latest album, Knees Up, is available on the weekend.

Olly is a skilled footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid matches down the years - but he is not intending a serious return as a player.
"{I actually played in a benefit match the other evening for a mate of mine," he said. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my child or boy decides to play instead."
Murs and his spouse Amelia Tank have two children, their daughter and their son, and he is ready to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their manager.
"I won't push football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be coaching their weekend football team," he added.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My father did it with us when I was a child, which is likely where I get it from. He managed our team for two or three years and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from fitness issues but their attack is already more potent with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this game will be quite close, though. The Clarets are well organised and their sole home losses so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.
This suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their past two games - although both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear strong again.
The Hammers' only on the road win this campaign came at Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was still that team's coach.
Therefore, what on earth do I predict here - can West Ham extending their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth responding?
I will choose the Cherries, because I think what happened against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
Olly's prediction: Bournemouth are performing strongly but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the campaign began, but they have impressed a few observers under their manager and are in fine fettle with three in their last four games.
My son told me to select Bees striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I ignored the advice.
Thiago will probably score again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great fortune on the road this season, and Brighton are always decent at their stadium. Brentford will try to hit them on the break but I think the home manager's side carry much more of a threat.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
Olly's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it actually turns out to be quite tight. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a huge fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their last six games.
Fulham have have lots of talent in their team but it nonetheless feels like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.
As for the Black Cats, well they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.
The away side's display in the two-all tie with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We've not seen anyone else rough up the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.
The sensible thing would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are clearly capable of roughing Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the end of October.
But I am not choose that. Rather, I truly need to continue opposing the away team with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they evidently love to defy my predictions.
Looking at Fulham's home record, the only team they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be extremely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.
Sutton's forecast: 1-0
Olly's choice: I know the visitors are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a bad run... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a hard fixture to predict. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 matches in all competitions, but might they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
